Simplifying My Life

unpacking-boxes.jpgWhat do you think of this new place?  I’m still unpacking, amazing the amount of stuff you collect in just a few months time.  I moved for a variety of reasons, the biggest being lack of functionality at blogger.  Most people could probably do over there, what I can do here, but I don’t have the time or inclination to learn html.  Lots of drag and drop, point and click over here.  I like the time I get to spend in blog country, I hate when any of it is wasted by eaten posts, pictures that won’t load, missing links, missing archives… and plain old outages.  I really am trying to simplify my life, and this place lets me add pages, so much easier than adding blogs and less places to log into every day.  I also must do everything Janet does.  (Just kidding).

Hopefully by tomorrow everything will be up and running and I’ll have a proper post.  Please update your link to me, okay?

The free-lance writer is the person who is paid per piece or per word or perhaps. (Robert Benchley)

Welcome to My Neighborhood!

Shortly after I learned to use a spoon, I learned to use a pencil. Crippled by shyness as a child, I found that the things I couldn't say out loud, I could say with a pen, and then a typewriter. The shyness was overcome with education and age...but the need to write has never left me.
