It’s Friday, my new blog is fixed. (Thank you Tony for never giving up.) Turned out to be a “theme” problem (didn’t we use to call these “templates”?), either I messed the original one up when I customized it, or it started out messed up, regardless, it didn’t work with me.  Today, we seem to be back in business.  The picture in the header was taken by my friend Waldo.

Trying is all that is required of most things in life – we forget that in the constant quest for the perfection our culture tells us should be our pepetual work. Enthusiasm goes a long way in my book!

True Dr. Kate, I forget that sometimes.

Patsy – What a wonderful memory! I would love to hear about life in a one room school house, maybe you’ll do a post someday?

The free-lance writer is the person who is paid per piece or per word or perhaps. (Robert Benchley)

Welcome to My Neighborhood!

Shortly after I learned to use a spoon, I learned to use a pencil. Crippled by shyness as a child, I found that the things I couldn't say out loud, I could say with a pen, and then a typewriter. The shyness was overcome with education and age...but the need to write has never left me.
