How old is she? My boy is 19 months and will be Buckeye attired tomorrow.

  • 2. katcampbell  |  November 18, 2006 at 8:10 am

She is two months old FWM! A preemie that just couldn’t wait to get into the world.

She is beautiful! My son goes to watch his beloved University of Oregon team play Arizona tomorrow with Tom…he’s stoked!

I’m gonna need a huge blowout. Can you handle that for me, please?

  • 5. Nessa  |  November 18, 2006 at 5:00 pm

    Very pretty girl.

    Go OHIO, Go!

  • 6. Catch  |  November 18, 2006 at 5:04 pm

    She is a little dollbaby!

  • 7. katcampbell  |  November 18, 2006 at 5:43 pm

Mr. Fabulous – I have no worries about a win… I don’t know about a blow out though. Guido won’t be happy with just a win?

Thanks Nessa! I may have to blog the color commentary of todays game, so exciting!

Catch – Thanks! You should see her in person, little cuddle bunny.

Slim has a nice quiet childless weekend planned out for the two of us. I haven’t yet broached the subject of the M/O game at 3pm. Wish me luck.

Cute kid, by the way. But what’s wrong with her neck?

  • 9. katcampbell  |  November 18, 2006 at 6:46 pm

We haven’t acquired the necessary funds to purchase her a neck yet. She just rolls that little head around like a ball bearing. You didn’t negotiate major football games into your marriage contract? twobuyfour – you’re screwed.

  • 10. Janet  |  November 18, 2006 at 7:41 pm

Kat, you just got $5,000-isn’t that enough for a neck?

  • 11. katcampbell  |  November 18, 2006 at 8:28 pm

AND SHE’S BACK! LOL, Janet, you’re redeemed! Hey – I paid for my kids necks, babie’s mom needs to pay for hers!

  • 12. jackie  |  November 18, 2006 at 9:17 pm

OMG – Janet cracks me up! Kat, I don’t do sports – but that baby is not only getting bigger, she’s getting more beautiful!

  • 13. katcampbell  |  November 18, 2006 at 9:35 pm

Thanks Jackie! I think she’s just as cute as a button and a bona fide miracle (as you know!)

  • 14. Janet  |  November 18, 2006 at 9:55 pm

aww, Grammas are supposed to spoil their grandkids! What says “spoil” better than a neck?

  • 15. katcampbell  |  November 18, 2006 at 9:58 pm

LOL! Janet stop it! You’re cracking me up today and I’m supposed to be working!

  • 16. Linda  |  November 18, 2006 at 10:40 pm

She is adorable! We were at mass last Sunday and the priest was joking around and asked us to pray for the Ohio team. He pulled up his vestments and was wearing a Ohio shirt underneath. It was pretty funny.

Kat I was listening to the radio today and they had the editor of the Toled Blade on talking about the big game. Would this be the one by any chance. He was saying that its the main talking point and is in all the papers. Apparently Katie Holms ?? is marrying Tom Cruise and she is from Toledo and no one there has even bother to mention the marriage. Who is Tom Cruise????

  • 18. Kat  |  November 19, 2006 at 1:03 am

Ohio State Vs Michigan is definately the big game the guy would be talking about. Besides being a very old rivalry, the coach Bo Schembechler, who started this fierce rivalry just died. Tom and Katie are nobodys to me – actors who are scientologists and total freaks. If you haven’t discovered that American’s are somewhat loony yet, now you have!

Linda – How funny! What a fun priest

  • 20. sunfloweroptimism  |  November 19, 2006 at 1:39 am

Kat , what a precious and beautiful grandbaby you have there – especially in her Buckeye onesie! (ALL your grandgirls are spectacular!)

Ok, having no particular allegiance, I’ll through my lot in with OH. (although I did a summer internship with Ford in MI one summer)

  • 21. Janet  |  November 19, 2006 at 5:43 am

    Rose Bowl here we come!

  • 22. katcampbell  |  November 19, 2006 at 6:07 am

Woo Whoo!!!!! What a nail biter!

  • 23. Janet  |  November 19, 2006 at 7:42 am

    Hey, look what I found:

“FOR SALE: Neck, female, low mileage, one owner. $5,000 OBO. Call 555-7896”.

  • 24. tony  |  November 19, 2006 at 7:52 am

She is absolutely adorable! Even with that getup on!

Seriously, what a great game. Bo Schembechler would have been proud.

  • 25. katcampbell  |  November 19, 2006 at 9:18 pm

    Janet! LOL!

Hey, Tony, that girl is styling in the latest buckeye baby duds. It was a good game, I don’t mind close ones, so much more exciting than a blow out.

The free-lance writer is the person who is paid per piece or per word or perhaps. (Robert Benchley)

Welcome to My Neighborhood!

Shortly after I learned to use a spoon, I learned to use a pencil. Crippled by shyness as a child, I found that the things I couldn't say out loud, I could say with a pen, and then a typewriter. The shyness was overcome with education and age...but the need to write has never left me.
