    Laura J – Uh, housework?
Jan – I agree, staying warm was more of a priority today.
Quilly – That leaves me only with meeting the looming deadline. No wonder you’re such a good teacher!
Dr. John – On the way over to read it!
Dave – 0 calories? So I should leave the dust then.
Jon – Always the optimist, aren’t ya?
Dave M – Now that sounds like a plan!
Shelli – Overwhelmed is my middle name.
Hayden – LOL, I could just see Pap’s face if he came home to such a sign on our door!

The free-lance writer is the person who is paid per piece or per word or perhaps. (Robert Benchley)

Welcome to My Neighborhood!

Shortly after I learned to use a spoon, I learned to use a pencil. Crippled by shyness as a child, I found that the things I couldn't say out loud, I could say with a pen, and then a typewriter. The shyness was overcome with education and age...but the need to write has never left me.
