Unreasonable Demands

Call me ditzy, but I learned only this morning that all presidential e-mail is public. All. The love note to his wife, the silly jokes to his kid…All. That’s a lot to ask of the person who sits under the burden of leading our country and definately knocks me out of running for the position.

I guess he’ll have to write his love notes by hand.

I don’t know why anybody would want that job anyway! Compare photographs of the presents when they went into office with how they look coming out. Most of them look like they’ve double in age in just a handful of years.

The fact that G. Bush looks much the same now as he did when he went in pretty much proves to me that he didn’t feel any stress or uncertainty in his actions — which weighs in pretty heavily on the side of ego maniac.

Technically, all email is public if you have the right search tools.

I probably “knew” that, but never realized it. Sigh. We own him, poor guy.

Scary to think that nothing is private, even for the President.

The free-lance writer is the person who is paid per piece or per word or perhaps. (Robert Benchley)

Welcome to My Neighborhood!

Shortly after I learned to use a spoon, I learned to use a pencil. Crippled by shyness as a child, I found that the things I couldn't say out loud, I could say with a pen, and then a typewriter. The shyness was overcome with education and age...but the need to write has never left me.
